Mimi German is an American poet, installation artist, peace activist, political disrupter and agitator, and author of five poetry collections, including her recent translated work WAR POEMS, Israel-Gaza/The First 100 Days of Carnage. Her writing appears in Maintenant 18, International Times, Mountain Wind Magazine, Walt’s Corner, Clarion Quarterly, Haiku Pause, The Literary Underground, and other journals. Her poems were featured in Marco Nereo Rotelli’s Italian installation Respect. Translated into Arabic, Hebrew, Irish, and Chinese, her work was recently nominated for Best of the Net. Named Oregon’s New Generation Beat Poet Laureate in 2023, she now lives in southeastern Oregon.
