Juan Fitzgerald Thompson, son of Hunter S. Thompson, was born in California, outside of San Francisco in 1964 and grew up on Owl Farm. He graduated from Tufts University. His memoir, The Stories I Tell Myself: Growing Up With Hunter S. Thompson, is a painful, yet loving account, of Juan’s relationship with his father.
