Jennifer Blowdryer fronted punk band The Blowdriers, in 1977 – 1979, as a teen, founded Trash Debutantes in San Francisco in ’84, moved to NYC on a writing fellowship for Columbia ’85. Wrote a column for Maximum R’n’Roll, later for New York Press. Her first book was with underground publisher Last Gasp; most recent was last year True Blue: Essays on NYC with Apathy Press. Some of her other books include White Trash Debutante, Where’s My Wife? and The Laziest Secretary in the World.
