In 2020, Elizabeth Cusack began having her poetry published online and in journals. In 2024, she published a book of verse, Lovers Leap, based on the life of the ancient Greek poetess Sappho, quickly followed by a sequel Nothing But the Sea. Her poetry frequently appears at Fevers of the Mind, and she has also published with Wombwell Rainbow and Starbeck Orion. Elizabeth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art from Colby-Sawyer College, in New London, New Hampshire. She was active for many years as an actor, director, costume designer, and fundraiser for fringe theaters in Richmond, Virginia. She now resides in the Coachella valley of California and in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She enjoys creating art, videos, musical playlists, and interacting on social media. She has edited books for other poets such as the sensational British poet Arthur L. Wood.
