Victoria Elmwood is the Scholarly Engagement Librarian for the Humanities at Tulane University in New Orleans. She holds a combined PhD. from IU Bloomington in English and American Studies. As a literary critic, she specializes in autobiography and life writing and has published journal articles on the Beats and Chicago pimp Iceberg Slim as well as the film Rocky. She has also published work on life writing in graphic novels, specifically Art Spiegelman’s Maus and Alan Moore’s The Watchmen.
