Called “another classic New Jersey bard” by Allen Ginsberg, Eliot Katz is the author of seven books of poetry, as well as a prose book, The Poetry and Politics of Allen Ginsberg. A collaboration of Eliot’s poems and music by Adam Bernstein, called Peace Talk Poems, will be released in December on online audio streaming platforms. Katz is the son of a Holocaust-survivor mom, and he has worked for many years as an activist for a wide range of peace and social-justice causes, including helping to create housing and food programs for homeless individuals and families in Central Jersey that remain ongoing.
